Born in London 1948

Studied Fine Art at:

  • Diploma in Art and Design (DIP.AD Fine Art)
  • Masters degree:M.A.

1972-1995 Worked as a freelance photographer/illustrator for numerous magazines and book publishing companies, also exhibiting her personal work.

Taught photography at The Stanhope Institute, Camberwell School of Art and East London University.

1995 Left England to live in South West France. After an extensive series of work in mixed media on the subject of landscape she began to work on the theme of portraiture in various guises, working mainly in oils and pastel.

She presently collaborates with the ceramicist Stephen Trenam in producing a collection of painted ceramics under the name of ‘Atelier Mouche’

‘Atelier Mouche’ is also the name of the association of artists she has created for lifedrawing classes and the organisation of exhibitions. (

She is one of the founder members of La Gare des Arts, an association dedicated to the promotion of figurative art
